You woke up today and looked in the mirror.

And you said to yourself, "F#*K this, I’m going to get in shape!”

Here's the problem – you don’t really know HOW.

Take it easy, it's cool; we’ve all been there.  This may be the 1st, 5th or 20th time you’ve tried to drop that stubborn belly pouch and get fit. 

Things didn’t work out the last time, or the time before that, or even the time before that…”but this time it's going to be different!” right?

So you jump on the net and search “how to lose weight,” and see 10.4 billion sites that promise you the fastest results with no effort. You get overwhelmed, scared, intimidated, and then start checking Face Book or watching Maury.

 

Well if you found KRANK there is still hope!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Are you INSANE?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Think about the last couple of times your tried to loose weight and get fit.  

How did it turn out? 

What caused you to "fall off the wagon"? 

Congratulate yourself, because now you know exactly what doesn't work for you!

Einstein once said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. 

Unless you are out of your mind, don’t do the same thing you did last time to try to get into shape.

It’ AIN’T gonna work!

If you've hit the gym with your boys, did cardio classes with your girls, ran on a treadmill, did kickboxing, tried starving yourself, or whatever, and still haven't gotten the results you want, it’s time to try something new.

1) PLAN IT OUT

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes sometimes it's a good thing to just jump right into it and not wait, but this time you want to ensure that you won't be trying to lose weight again this time next month or even next year so, PLAN IT OUT!

Be super specific with what you want and what you are trying to achieve so that you can plan what steps are needed to achieve your goals.

Once you plan things out, DO THEM!

It's all good to plan but if you spend all that time planning and don't do anything, you just wasted your time and energy.

GET IT DONE!

 

Put your action steps on a calendar, set an alarm and don't miss your scheduled training session.

Also understand that this is not a quick fix, this is a lifestyle change, you won't wake up the following day of exercise with a ripped 6 pack, but before you know it you'll have the body you want and reach your goal.

Just put the time in and focus on your progress not perfection.

 

 

2) CLEAN UP YOUR DIET.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know it sounds corny, but abs are made in the kitchen.

Over 80% of your success depends on your diet.

Unless you are hitting up a marathon everyday, you cannot out train a crappy diet. I really can't stress this enough. 

Whether you count calories, cut out certain foods, or try a new diet all together, this is the single most important step you can take.

Now, most people suck at eating better because they try to change too many things at once or just mix everything up.

You will just confuse your body, get hungry or annoyed and end up quitting.

Just pick one change each week and stick with it, once you have mastered that change then just choose another. Whether it’s eating 100 less calories per day, drinking one less soda or juice, eating one green vegetable or just  cooking your own meal once a week…small changes can lead to big successes in the long run.

3) GET HELP

 

 

 

 

 

 

The most important factor in reaching your goal is to get help.

I understand that you've always done things on your own and it is very empowering but sometimes in order really reach the level you want find someone that will have your back.

A) Make your goal public. Post it on Face Book, tell your friends and family what you are trying to do and they will most definitely hold you accountable.

B) Make a friendly wager with someone. I once bet a friend $1,000 I would come through on a project in 3 months. I didn't have $1,000 and even if I did I was not going to give it up so easy by quitting.

C) Get a workout partner. There are going to be days when you just want to skip your workout.  There will be nights after a shitty day at work where you'll just want to head home and watch NetFlix. Find a friend who’s just starting out like you and work out with them!  He/she will drag your ass to the gym and motivate you and you will do the same. You will be each others rock when either of you start bitching about training.

So that's it!

Plan it out, clean up your diet little by little,  change one thing every couple of weeks and be done with the insanity.
