Here's a pretty cool exercise we use to help teach the #Benchpress or as a #regressionto the standard #push-up and sometimes use to get a mean #chest and #tricep #pumpfor a few of the gym #Meathead's. .
EXERCISE INDEX: Inclined bar push-ups.
1. Grip the bar slightly outside shoulder width, with the knees locked, glutes and abs braced.
2. As you lower yourself to the bar screw the bar with your palms, that will activate your lats. (Note added clip, ha!!).
3. Make sure the lower portion of your chest touches the bar, sternum, pause for a second, then thrust your body away from the bar while maintaining the glutes and abs braced.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 for desired reps.
